The February Playlist

To start a fresh week, I'd like to share some of my favourite music of this month with you!

1. King Charles is a singer that I recently discovered whom I fell in love with from the very first minute. "Bam Bam" was the first song I heard of him, but truly his entire album "Loveblood" is amazing.
   I just can't get enough of looking at him. Face it, men with beard... raawr, I'll always have a weakness for that.
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. I never really liked Lykke Li and dubstep was not something I was too keen on either. This was until I heard the song I'm good I'm gone which I can't stop listening to! Looking at the video, I get this mysterious/strange feeling which really fascinates me.
   
   
   
   
   
3. Pink is probably one of the most powerful female singers that I have ever known. She has always been a rebel, doing what she wants but because of that she releases amazing music.
   I have seen her live once and her performance was so cool! And just when it couldn't get any better, I came across this video (see below). Even if you hate Pink, please please watch this video. It's amazing!
   
   
   
   
   
4. I heard this song by The Echo Friendly on the serie Girls and even though it was short, I thought it was a special song. It gives me this melancholic and spacey feeling which is so good if you just want to escape to another world for a little while!
   
   
   
   
5. Selah Sue is such an inspiring unique woman. If you look at her, you look at her as this small, shy, tiny woman, but wait until you see her sing and move. All I can say about her is wow!!
   This is probably the best covers I have ever heard so far done by Selah Sue and Triggerfinger. Total ecstasy!

Explore.Dream.Discover

It took me a while to update this post because I have had a very busy week. But I finally got some time to update!
As some of you might have seen in the previous post, I am trying to cover my wall with inspirational frames, so last week I have been working on a new frame on which the words Explore, Dream and Discover are placed.

I worked on this tiny project with a friend who is amazing knitting and crocheting. And since I don't have the patience to knit, I let her do it while I was working on the video and the words which are made of felt.

My little heaven

My bedroom is my own heaven which is filled things that inspire me. Over the years I have collected so many stuff that I barely have place for it. My mission for now is to cover my wall with inspirational images, frames and quotes. This one part of the wall which I worked on yesterday.

This bag is my favourite item for a while now. It is a 30 year old leather bag which was used for clothes pins. It was more worth than just to carry pins, so I took it.
It used to be my father's bag, can you tell that it is a male bag though?

Get out of your comfort zone

 When it comes to painting, it takes me weeks before I start. Not because I don't have inspiration, but because I am scared that this perfect image in my head will turn out to be imperfect. And it is ridiculous because every time I am working, I end up having so much fun, no matter what the result is. One of my goals this year is to do more and think less to get out of my comfort zone!
